PRESCHOOL STATEMENT OF MISSION
The mission of Bethel Ev. Lutheran Preschool is to teach young children and their families about God's love and His plan of salvation, to guide them in applying their faith to life and sharing that faith with others, and to provide them with spiritual and educational support.
OUR PRESCHOOL PROGRAM
Bethel Lutheran Preschool is owned and operated by Bethel Ev. Lutheran Church and is established as part of the total educational program of the church. Our preschool is fully licensed by the State of Michigan . The 2 day program, or first year preschool, is geared for 3 year olds who are experiencing the preschool setting for the first time. Our 3 day program, or second year preschool, is for the 4-5 year old and is geared toward Kindergarten readiness.
OUR OPTIONS ARE:
2 day Tuesday/Thursday - 8:00-12:00 - $70 p/month
2 day Tuesday/Thursday - 9:00-12:00 - $55 p/month
3 day Monday/Wednesday/Friday - 8:00-12:00 - $90 p/month
3 day Monday/Wednesday/Friday - 9:00-12:00 - $70 p/month
CLASS SIZE:
Our limit is 16 children per class.
PRESCHOOL DIRECTOR/INSTRUCTOR:
Mrs. Jodi Virant is our preschool director and instructor. Mrs. Virant has eighteen years of teaching experience in early elementary education and has an extensive educational background. She graduated from Silver Lake College in 1989 with a Bachelor of Science in Education. She continued her education the following year at Dr. Martin Luther College and earned a second Bachelor of Science in Education. From 1993 to 1999 she attended Madonna University and earned a Master of Arts in Learning Disabilities and is currently enrolled in Concordia University Wisconsin working toward a second graduate degree in counseling. Mrs. Virant holds and maintains teacher certificates in the states of Wisconsin and Michigan.
Bethel Congregation has been blessed in finding such a highly qualified instuctor. Our preschool continues to offer a Christ centered Kindergarten readiness and social experience program that our parents have come to expect and desire.
